This weeks blog looks at how you can get really prepared for success by following these 5 daily disciplines. How ready are you to step up and really get ready for success? Are you ready to take massive action to achieve your dreams? Why not follow these 5 great tips from our very own in-house specialist Natasha who consistently flies high.
Eat Like a Champion, Daily Diet, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and low glycaemic index low calorie (Kcal) snacks throughout the day. Start the day with a Hot Lemon and water to cleanse the system and start hydration, followed by antioxidant Green tea and a breakfast which contains a healthy balance of Carbohydrates, Proteins and fats. Don’t forget the fibre, healthy digestion is also key to well-being and successful start to the day.
Get up, Get Moving and Get out! There is an abundance of evidence linked to exercise and psychological well-being, reduced disease and illness and obviously physical fitness and body image improvements. There are so many ways to get moving, 20 minutes if you haven’t got time for more, will have great impact on health and well-being. There are so many options online that you can do from your own home, although you can’t beat getting outside. Absorbing any vitamin D you can from those sunny rays.
Get a Boost! Vitamins, not everyone is blessed with a diet which optimizes vitamin absorption by the body, so the vitamin industry is worth millions of Pounds/Dollars for a reason so why not join the club, it can really benefit you. Omegas are great brain food (while success involves using your brain after all, so fuel it). For those in a less then sunny climate Vitamin D during winter months is a great thing to top up, & we all know Vitamin C is a good immune booster, success doesn’t wait for you to get over any colds and minor ailments, so there is a reason the saying Prevention is better than the cure is so well known.
Read, Read and Read some more, or for those fellow non-readers out there, why not download audiobooks and listen to them every spare hour you have. Driving, daily commute, by the end of the year you could have the equivalent of a year’s education for a fraction of the price. A good kick starter of these Daily Disciplines include “Slight Edge” by Jeff Olsen or one of Inspirations Clubs guest Speaker Kul Mahay “Smash the Habit”. For all those articles you don’t have time to read in the newspaper, cut them out and stick them in your bag/wallet and whilst your stuck in a queue, use a little knowledge to pass the time.
Take ACTION, well you’re hydrated, you’re fueled, you’re physically ready and you’re more educated on the best direction to take your life….so GO DO IT. If the job or goal seems overwhelming and puts you into slight panic and you have a tendency to procrastinate. Why not chunk your work into tiny manageable tasks and take action on just one thing to gain the momentum to take you that step closer to success? Again there is a reason why the quote; “the journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step” is so popular.
